Hi
When I was young I realy wanted a Rubik's cube but my parents refused as they thought I would never use it, which is a fair thought. But finally, at a local fair, I won a Rubik's cube. I was fascinated and immediateley scrambled it, but it had bad turning, a weird colour scheme and was realy confusing in general. So my dad got me a new cube, so we could learn how to solve it . First my dad learnt the LBL method , where you solve piece by piece , and then he taught it to me.
I got pretty advanced at this method , and then I quit cubing (dramatic sigh ) but after a year i picked it back up and went to watch my first competition . which was tons of fun and i bought my first 'speedcube' the tornado xt3 v1 a solid cube and helped me get "sub 20" - that is a solve time of less than 20 seconds - and it's still one of my favourite cubes.
Since then, I have entered more competitions and really enjoy trying to improve my times. Now I enter 4x4, 3x3, 3x3 one-handed and hope to enter even more events soon. For example, 2x2 and "3 BLD".
